The Phoenix Business Networking Group have an Open Evening planned for Tuesday May 31st 6.30pm-8pm, an ideal no-obligation opportunity to find out us, meet our members and others in business, all in a relaxed setting and format, with light refreshments and nibbles available. There will also be displays and information available from current members.
We welcome new members who are sole traders (in lots of business areas), people who are new to self-employment or have experience to share, or perhaps running a small hobby business that they would like to develop to create a sustainable income. Our aim is RISE - referrals, information, support and education, as well as a perfect opportunity to make new friends. (We hold social events as well).
The group is very different to other Business Network franchise meetings, as the monthly fee is minimal and the group meet every 2 weeks, on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm. Usually, other Business Network meetings are breakfast ones which does mean they can cut into the working day for many people.
We aim to support new and not so new businesses with ideas to help them grow, help them avoid pitfalls, be an enthusiastic friendly ear.
During lockdown, we maintained contact with regular, online meetings, which proved to be invaluable and a good source of motivation for all; and with friendship, trust and respect at the core of the group we all confidently refer customers into each other's services.
A business network is a type of business social network which is developed to help business people connect with other managers and entrepreneurs to further each other's business interests by forming mutually beneficial business relationships. Business networking is a way of leveraging your business and personal connections to help you bring in new customers, vendors or just get great advice for running your business.
Meetings are in Eastwood twice a month. Group members are mostly in the West Notts/South-East Derbyshire border area.
We have a small but diverse network group including media comminucation, training, financial and trades

Welcome to John's Home Maintenance
We have over the years undertaken many jobs; from the very small, i.e. fixing a leaky tap to much larger projects costing many thousands of pounds.
At John's Home Maintenance we don't regard any job as too small. We have changed taps washers, replaced taps, fixed leaky ballcocks and radiators- you name it we have probably done it.
